"IMP ACTIVISM #2": In 1999, in Pittsburgh, 3 anarchist friends banded together to publish a printed matter 'zine called "The Street Rat".  Around the same time, these friends also started a video 'zine called "IMP ACTIVISM".  This was an attempt to document political activism with an IMPish sense of humor that might have some IMPACT.  Resistance is fertile.  Both publications lasted about 7 issues over the next 6 years.  IMP ACTIVISM #2 was made between 1999 & 2001 & is largely split betwen Australia & Pennsylvania.  Most of the footage has now been published as separate movies online but it seemed desirable to me to also publish this larger-scale edit to show how it all fits together as an attitude, as an approach to life by people who're sick of business as usual, by people who're the monkey wrenches in the machines of the pompous.  As the cover of the VHS release says: "Life can be magic when you start to live it."  - November 22, 2017 note from tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE
